It Begins

Sorry for all of you on the East Coast - I just had to share my excitement. And…yesterday when I walked Kira we saw…ROBINS!

Incidentally, this is how much knitting you can get done watching the Oscars!
btw - there are some new entries on the 2008 Reads page.

Hooray for spring. The first few cherry blossoms are in bloom here today which means by this time next week the entire world will be adorned with flours. I love spring.
Good to see you (on my blog) again. Weird about Bloglines.
Happy spring.
It’s ok, the east coasters have robins. At least those of us in Florida do
They stop here on their migration routes.
Not going to talk about my wildly blooming roses because that would just be mean.
I’m always a little jealous at how quickly spring arrives down there. :0) It’s feeling springy again, but I know it’s just a tease yet!
I’m not thinking spring just yet. The wind was pretty chilly today, but it will help melt the snow. I can’t even see the flower beds yet - still too much snow covering them. But it will come. Meanwhile, I’m trying to finish up a couple of afghans before the temps get too warm to have something heavy laying across my lap.
I see you’re up to 26 squares for Brandon and Dakotas blankets. If I can get a few more of my projects done, I may be able to send you more. I’ll see what I can do, I have been passing the word around to some of my clients. And saying a few prayers as I knit.
oh I love Robins - we usually have them in our back yard once Spring hits…
I’m torn - I’m enjoying the winter skiing but I’m ready for Spring too!
So Jealous!
Molly sends regards and best wishes to friend Kira!
