Since it’s usually some time between FO’s over here, I thought I would try regularly posting WIP’s.
My Trapeze Jacket is my exclusive Lost knitting and since I am waiting until Sunday to get Season 3 back…it has been languishing. Soon my pretty, soon.
I have started the 2nd Anemoi mitt for my Aunty. I’m already into the charting. Working the chart is so fun! I am enjoying the process much more the second time around.
I started a blanket for Kira using spare/leftover sock yarn. She shivers quite a bit when we travel in the car – and since she often works with me, she is in the car almost every day.
I have 6 more squares worked. 14 to go! I made all of the smallest and all of the largest. So now I just have 8 squares of 4 rows and 6 of 6 rows to go.
This is loosely based on Babette. Loosely, because variegated, or self striping yarn just doesn’t have the same affect. Also, some pretty vivid sock yarn seems to have crept into my knitting! Some of it was gifted and some of it was due to the wonder that is online shopping .
Apparently, it can be hard to capture true colour in photos.
I’m enjoying the simplicity of the pattern. Crochet is so easy and fast! Of course, these are just simple squares – I’m not truly following a crochet pattern like I would be if this was a garment. Even so, it’s fun to hone a rarely used skill.

hey, fyi……the sawatty’s are ploughing thru season three….very aware you need it!!!
I watched it with the little one and can’t believe how much I had forgotten….I was actually shocked in a few spots.
I now have a new theory about Jacob. Can’t wait to discuss!!
I can’t wait to see that blanket when it’s done!
:D:D
Is LOST ever coming back?!?!?!?!?

You are knitting another sweater. Girlfriend you are whipping these sweaters right off the needles super quick. Wow, if I could do that my closet would be filled with lovely knits and also if I liked them once I finished them. I tend to not like my sweaters I had knitted. Must find a loveable pattern that is super duper quick sometime.
Kira is one lucky dog to get handmade blanket from you. I do recall seeing Babette on some blogs. Kira would look so cool in a sweater…if she would wear one:) I had a dog that didn’t mind them. I miss having a dog:)
That blanket is going to be so snuggly – she’ll love it!
The blanket is beautiful – just the thing for a devoted co-worker…
I really need to learn how to crochet this year. Nice WIPs!
Babette is in my queu list!
can’t ait to see how your loose babbette turns out!
